Job Description:

US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate role focused on transforming health care for customers. Position helps people navigate the health care system by improving access, lowering costs and being a trusted partner. Role supports pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on brand promise while developing skills in preparation for increasing responsibility. After successfully passing FPGEE and TOEFL, candidate will be eligible to complete required US Internship hours and apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to become ready for Pharmacist role.

Job Responsibility:

Complete required US Internship hours and apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Complete mixed modality learning plan designed to further develop knowledge, skills, and abilities
Assist pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Ensure patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate as part of pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in customer and colleague interactions
Contribute to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
Create heartfelt and personalized moments while serving patients
Offer immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone
Demonstrate compassionate care by solving or escalating patient problems
Offer to counsel and field medical questions under direct supervision of licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber
Call prescriber to clarify prescriptions or facilitate medication changes
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching to pharmacy team members
Complete basic inventory activities as directed by pharmacy leadership
Contribute to high-performing team and embrace growth mindset
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law

Requirements:

Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Nice to have:

1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
