US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate position to complete required US Internship hours and apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice to become ready for a Pharmacist role. Under direction of preceptor, complete mixed modality learning plan designed to further develop knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required to successfully complete internship within 18 months and be prepared to complete and pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120-days of completion of required US Internship hours.
Job Responsibility:
Complete required US Internship hours and apply didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
Complete mixed modality learning plan under direction of preceptor
Assist pharmacy team to ensure pharmacy operations run smoothly
Ensure patients' prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately
Provide caring service that exceeds patient expectations
Operate as part of pharmacy team through consistent application of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all interactions
Contribute to safe and inclusive culture
Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy
Offer to counsel and field medical questions under direct supervision of licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescriber
Maintain self-awareness and provide coaching to pharmacy team members
Complete basic inventory activities as permitted by law
Contribute to high-performing team and embrace growth mindset
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs
Understand and comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and professional standards
Deliver additional patient health care services where allowable by law
Requirements:
Foreign Graduate from a Non-US Accredited college or school of pharmacy prior to beginning US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate Training Program at CVS
FPGEC certification
Pharmacist licensure in the state in which the position is based within 120 days of completion of US Intern hours
Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe

Nice to have:
1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
Ability to become immunization certified
Ability to work in home store, and across the market in other locations, to meet business needs
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
