Job Description:

This role focuses on completing required US Internship hours for Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities in pharmacy. Responsibilities include patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, workflow management, inventory management, and leadership. Candidates are expected to develop their skills in counseling, customer service, and pharmacy operations under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Job Responsibility:

Greet each customer in a courteous and professional manner both in-store and at the drive thru window
assist pharmacy and front store customers with their questions and concerns
comply with all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
adhere to CVS workflow standards
process prescriptions including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottles
support supervising pharmacist in furtherance of dispensing drugs, reviewing prescriptions, and monitoring compliance
facilitate a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or General Equivalent Development (GED)
Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy
active Pharmacy Intern license in state where district is located
0 to 3 years of related work experience
proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
