The Forecast Analyst is the powerhouse connector between business teams, data scientists, and Unilever’s cutting edge Forecast Engine Utility (FEU)—our ML/AI platform that turns massive datasets into high impact volume forecasts. In this role, you’ll turn real business challenges into smart forecasting solutions, partnering with Data Science and ML Ops to sharpen forecast accuracy, clarity, and storytelling for the U.S. market. You’ll make sure FEU’s design principles show up in every output—driving consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across Build and BAU teams. You’ll also be a champion of Unilever’s digital ecosystem—bringing digitally native skills, hands on data savvy, and the confidence to thrive in an AI accelerated environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead FEU reporting, analytics, and interpretability for the U.S.
Convert business challenges into clear features and model requirements
Ensure FEU design principles are consistently reflected in production outputs
Collaborate with global teams on architecture, enhancements, and governance
Enhance tools that explain ML driven forecast changes
Maintain analytics frameworks for S&OP, scenario planning, and attribution
Deliver clear, compelling data driven storytelling to guide business decisions
Conduct exploratory analysis and evaluate model outputs
Apply foundational AI/ML literacy to challenge or escalate issues
Navigate multi system data environments (Data Lake, Power BI, RapidResponse)
Leverage GenAI and CoPilot 365 for insights, automation, and narrative building
Work closely with Demand Analytics, Customer Development, Data Science, ML Ops, and global FEU partners
Build strong networks and influence across diverse teams
Identify opportunities to enhance FEU logic and explainability
Support testing and rollout of platform updates
Apply innovation mindset to strengthen forecasting performance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Computer Science, IT, Analytics, or related field
2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Data Science, IT, or Analytics
Experience with ML driven or statistical forecasting tools
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools like Power BI
Python/SQL a plus
Digital fluency, AI literacy, and comfort with GenAI enabled workflows
Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills
