A new, exciting opportunity within our Football Strategy & Analytics Department for a highly motivated and analytically driven Football Strategy Analyst to work closely with our Head of Football Strategy & Analytics, and our Technical Director in shaping and delivering the Club’s football strategy. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to high-level decision-making across performance, recruitment and squad planning, while driving strategic projects that impact the Club’s success on and off the pitch.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborating with the Head of Football Strategy & Analytics to identify and define the Club’s key strategic priorities across the football department
Monitoring progress against these priorities, ensuring alignment with the Club’s long-term vision
Working closely with senior stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into actionable plans
Supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives through structured project management approaches
Producing regular KPI reports tracking progress against strategic objectives
Developing and maintaining a suite of reports for the CEO, Ownership, and senior football stakeholders
Analysing performance trends across the football department to inform decision-making
Conducting benchmarking and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions across all areas of the football department
Sourcing and synthesising data from internal and external sources to generate actionable insights
Contributing to strategic recruitment discussions across both the Men’s & Women’s Teams
Preparing high-quality updates, reports, reviews, and presentations on behalf of the Head of Football Strategy & Analytics
Providing analytical and strategic input into key football decisions at senior level
Requirements:
Highly analytical and strategically minded professional
Strong understanding of elite football operations and decision-making
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence senior stakeholders
Prior experience in a strategy, analytics, or consulting role—ideally within a professional football club or high-performance sporting environment
Proven track record of supporting strategic projects, performance analysis, and executive-level reporting
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
