Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Foods leader and growth-focused commercial executive to lead, inspire, and accelerate our Foods Thailand business to new heights. The Commercial Lead will take full ownership of the Foods Thailand strategy, plans, and P&L, leading a high-performing cross-functional team across Marketing, Customer Business Development, and Customer Strategy & Planning to deliver both short-term results and long-term growth. This role provides strategic direction to deliver in-year targets with full P&L accountability, making clear trade-offs where needed to ensure business success. It will bring clarity, prioritization, and future-back thinking to anticipate channel, category, and consumer shifts, while transforming the business to win. The role will lead 30+ immediate and extended cross-functional team members and serve as a key interface with National Customer Development and the Country Leadership Team.

Job Responsibility

  • Translate category strategy into a clear BU country strategy for Foods Thailand
  • Represent the customer voice to the BU, own key customer relationships, and lead joint business planning, strategic pricing, and range reviews
  • Define customer and channel targets and lead disciplined marketplace execution
  • Own in-year BU country P&L performance, including trade terms and commercial investment choices
  • Define the local portfolio strategy, lead demand creation, and nurture local jewels where applicable
  • Lead the country S&OP process for the BU and be end-accountable for IBP and UBS delivery
  • Own the people agenda, act as guardian of culture, and lead transformation for the Foods Thailand business
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing cross-functional team across sales, marketing, customer strategy, and planning to meet and exceed business targets
  • Serve as a critical member of the BU Leadership Team
  • Act as the key connector between the BU GM and Thailand country teams
  • Serve as a member of the Country Customer Development Leadership Forum

Requirements

  • Significant senior leadership experience within a multinational organization
  • Proven track record of business performance and people leadership impact
  • Strong commercial acumen and P&L management experience
  • Strong category focus combined with customer-facing commercial experience
  • Experience in customer management, customer strategy, and business planning
  • Experience managing complexity across Distributive Trade, Modern Trade, and dCommerce

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in the Foods industry or a closely related business is an advantage
  • Marketing, category, and brand functional experience is beneficial
