The Foods BU Quality Leader is the senior quality leader for the Foods Business Unit, accountable for end-to-end quality governance—from design and innovation through to consumer delivery. This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, drives consumer safety and product superiority, and embeds a strong quality culture across the BU. The position is part of the Foods BG Quality Leadership Team and partners closely with Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, Brand, and other functions to deliver competitive advantage and business growth.
Job Responsibility:
Define and deploy Foods BU Quality strategy aligned with BG and SC priorities
Represent Foods BU in BG Quality Leadership Team and integrated business platforms
Drive governance systems for compliance, risk management, and continuous improvement
Lead consumer safety programs ensuring compliance from design to delivery
Implement and verify Quality Management System (QMS) across sourcing units and manufacturing partners
Ensure regulatory compliance, manage audits and certifications
Champion quality standards and superiority metrics for innovation and existing portfolio
Leverage consumer insights to shape quality benchmarks and deliver superior experiences
Collaborate with R&D and Brand teams to embed quality in end-to-end processes
Drive digital quality initiatives (e.g., DEOC, SPC, Digital CCPs) to enhance efficiency and transparency
Align digital programs with BG priorities and sourcing unit capabilities
Inspire a strong quality culture across all business functions
Lead and develop Foods BU Quality team, ensuring talent growth and succession planning
Promote cross-functional collaboration and virtual engagement best practices
Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
Ensure Foods BU remains compliant and competitive in global markets
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Chemistry
Deep knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements
Expertise in QMS, audits, and continuous improvement
Strong business acumen with ability to deliver across design-to-deliver value chain
Experienced leadership in managing diverse teams and fostering high performance
Advanced English
Spanish/Portuguese intermediate
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in digital quality tools and data-driven decision-making
