Previous warehouse experience (freezer/chilled environment preferred but not essential)
Comfortable working in cold temperatures with PPE supplied
Basic understanding of warehouse health & safety
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Good communication skills and attention to detail
Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting where required
Ability to work weekends as it would be a 5 over 7 shift pattern

Job Responsibility

Pick, pack, and move stock within freezer and ambient areas
Maintain correct stock rotation following FIFO principles
Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
Ensure all areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
Use handheld scanners or warehouse systems to update stock information
Operate pallet trucks or other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)

Requirements

Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse
Flexible in working a 5-day rolling rota shift pattern where you are contracted to work weekends and Bank/Public holidays
Health and Safety compliance
Compliance with Food Safety and Food Hygiene legislation

Capable of working 44 hours per week including Saturdays and public holidays

Job Responsibility

Accurate picking and dispatch of goods using voice technology
Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust
Ensuring all products are assembled and methodically stacked

Compliance with Food Safety and Food Hygiene legislation
