Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Freezer/Ambient Operative to join our warehouse operations team. This role involves working across both chilled/freezer environments and ambient areas, ensuring stock is organised, picked, and maintained to company standards while supporting the safe setup and management of lighting systems within the warehouse.

Job Responsibility:

  • Pick, pack, and move stock within freezer and ambient areas
  • Maintain correct stock rotation following FIFO principles
  • Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes
  • Ensure all areas are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
  • Use handheld scanners or warehouse systems to update stock information
  • Operate pallet trucks or other warehouse equipment (training provided if required)

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience (freezer/chilled environment preferred but not essential)
  • Comfortable working in cold temperatures with PPE supplied
  • Basic understanding of warehouse health & safety
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting where required
  • Ability to work weekends as it would be a 5 over 7 shift pattern
