Job Description:

Elementa Support Services is partnering with a well-established secondary academy in Weston-Super-Mare to recruit a dedicated Food Technology Teacher for a six-week contract. Our client prides itself on providing a supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their skills and passion for Design and Technology. This exciting opportunity is suitable for qualified teachers (QTS/QTLS) with a background in Design Technology, particularly Food Technology.

Job Responsibility:

  • Delivering engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
  • Fostering enthusiasm for the subject
  • Supporting the academic progress of pupils in a varied and dynamic setting

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Proven experience teaching Food Technology or Design Technology at secondary level
  • An engaging approach to classroom management and lesson delivery
  • The ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learners’ needs
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of behaviour and student engagement
  • Strong organisational skills and professionalism
