Job Description:

We have a fantastic opening in Sefton for a Food Technology Teacher ready to lead a new cohort of students after the Easter holidays. If you want a supportive environment where your lesson plans are given the room to breathe, this is it.

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging, hands-on Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4
Teach students essential cooking techniques and nutritional knowledge
Manage the kitchen environment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met
Plan and prep ingredients and equipment for practical sessions
Inspire students to explore diverse cuisines and healthy eating habits
Assess student progress and provide feedback on their culinary creations

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
The ability to manage a busy classroom with confidence
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
