Food Technology Teacher Wanted in Sefton! Are you a Qualified Teacher with a passion for Food Technology? If you love the sizzle of a busy kitchen and the energy of a classroom, we have the perfect station for you. One of our partner schools in Sefton is looking for a creative Food Tech Teacher to join them right after the Easter break. We're looking for someone who can turn a simple recipe into a masterclass and inspire students to get cooking. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or an Early Career Teacher (ECT), we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibility:

Deliver engaging, hands-on Food Technology lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4
Teach students essential cooking techniques and nutritional knowledge
Manage the kitchen environment, ensuring all health and safety standards are met
Plan and prep ingredients and equipment for practical sessions
Inspire students to explore diverse cuisines and healthy eating habits
Assess student progress and provide feedback on their culinary creations

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised qualification
Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
The ability to manage a busy classroom with confidence
A current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
