Product Development: Designing and developing new food products, ensuring they meet consumer preferences, nutritional needs, and regulatory standards
Food Safety: Ensuring food products meet health and safety regulations by identifying risks related to foodborne illnesses and implementing appropriate procedures
Ingredient and Raw Material Sourcing: Sourcing quality ingredients and ensuring suppliers meet the standards required for production & that materials are compliant with the local legal requirements & if any special requirements for the company's Standards (Mandatory TDS, MAD & HALAL)
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all food products comply with relevant food laws, safety regulations, and standards (such as Local legal requirements , CODEX , FDA or EFSA guidelines)
Process Optimization: Working to improve and optimize food production processes, reducing waste and increasing efficiency while maintaining product quality
Packaging Development: Designing packaging that preserves the food's freshness and quality while complying with regulations and minimizing environmental impact & in line with machine capability
Collaboration with Other Teams: Working closely with supply chain, operations, Quality & regulatory, engineering, marketing teams, and other professionals to ensure the food products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or a related field from a reputable university
2-5 years of experience preferably in Food Industries in a similar role
