Job Description:

IKEA Food Team Leader position responsible for attracting visitors to the stores, encouraging IKEA store visitors to stay longer, offering great food with quality at the lowest prices, and providing co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge. The role involves customer service, commercial activities, people management, business steering, and operations.

Job Responsibility:

Attract visitors to the stores
Encourage IKEA store visitors to stay longer and enjoy more
Offer great food with quality at the lowest prices
Give visitors a tasty reason to return again and again
Provide co-workers with a chance to rest and re-charge
Ensure customers are always in focus and strive to make them smile
Lead by example and be a good ambassador for the IKEA store
Secure an irresistible food offer by ensuring attractive presentation and communication of the range
Ensure area is efficiently maintained, clean, organised, attractive and inviting
Support and coach colleagues on the job
Ensure IKEA Quality and Food Safety Policies and routines are followed
Ensure right number of co-workers in the right place at the right time

Requirements:

Experience of working in vibrant retail environment with proven track record
IKEA sales experience and knowledge of IKEA merchandising techniques
Experience of serving customers
Experience of working with KPI-driven action plan
Basic English communication skills
Experience of supervising and working in a team
Experience of developing action plans
Knowledge of the IKEA Concept, including our vision and business idea, IKEA culture and values, and how we create our business advantages
