Food Studies Teacher – Permanent, full-time from April 2026. Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver creative and engaging Food Studies lessons
Support pupils in developing practical skills, including safe food handling and preparation
Maintain high standards of classroom organisation and practical equipment safety
Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school procedures
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
Promote a positive learning environment that supports pupil independence and confidence
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Food Studies and related practical disciplines
Ability to deliver well‑structured lessons that support a range of learners
Confident in managing practical sessions safely and effectively
Strong organisational and communication skills
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
