Job Description:

As a Food Services Supervisor at Renaissance Shenzhen Bay Hotel, you will ensure staff work cohesively to deliver exceptional guest experiences, oversee restaurant operations, manage inventory, and maintain high-quality service standards. You will also assist the management in team hiring, training, and development while adhering to Marriott’s values.

Job Responsibility:

Ensure staff is working together as a team
inspect grooming and attire of staff
complete opening and closing duties
inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness
monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees
serve as a role model and first point of contact for employees
follow company and safety policies
report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
welcome and acknowledge all guests
ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
identify and implement ways to increase efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-savings

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
at least 2 years of related work experience
at least 1 year of supervisory experience
