Must hold to the doctrine and constitution/by-laws of the Mission
Must be a regular attendee of a local church and be willing to sign and adhere to the Mission’s Statement of Faith
Ability to read and follow instructions
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to operate cooking and food preparation equipment
Understanding of proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Basic computer skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of food service preferred
Food handlers card

Job Responsibility

Assists with food preparation as directed, operating food production equipment as required to complete tasks
Operates stove, oven, convection oven, grill
Maintains, cleans, and sanitizes workstations after each meal daily
Cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other containers and returns to appropriate location in the kitchen area
Refills condiments or other supplies
Follows all safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations to ensure quality food service
Performs other related duties as assigned
Welcomes volunteers and gives direction as needed
Directs Daily tasks for assistant

Job Responsibility

Keeps work area neat and clean at all times
