Food Services Assistant

• Portion and package meals on the assembly line
• Pick, pack, sort and distribute meals within chilled environments
• Assist with food preparation, weighing and marinating ingredients according to recipes
• Support meal production, including portioning and preparation of special dietary meals
• Receive and store goods, including stock checks for quality, temperature and use-by dates
• Complete cleaning and sanitation duties across kitchen and equipment areas
• Follow food safety, quality assurance and workplace procedures at all times
• Assist across Receivals, Fragilization, Transformation, Assembly, Cleaning and Dispatch areas as required

• Available to work Monday to Friday between 6:30am and 5:00pm
• Willing to work in cold environments (PPE provided)
• Previous kitchen, food production or manufacturing experience, including assembly line or pick packing work
• Strong understanding of food handling and hygiene practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and perform repetitive manual handling tasks
• Reliable transport, as public transport access to the site is limited

Forklift licence desirable but not essential
