Job Responsibility:

Assists food services supervisor in preparing food, cooking, heating, mixing, slicing, etc. to ensure food is properly prepared and available for participants and staff
Assists in the preparation and set up for Meals on Wheels ensuring that quality and quantity guidelines are followed
Complete kitchen clean up tasks and prepare food for storage following appropriate food handling procedures
Assists in completing inventories in storeroom and storage area by physically counting materials to ensure all items are accounted for and to ensure sufficient food supply for next day
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor and/or administration

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Qualified NYS driver’s license
Ability to complete basic math skills, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
Food service experience preferred
