Job Description:

Join our Team at Queen's Hospitality Services with Aramark Canada Ltd! The positions we have open are part-time with flexible hours and a starting wage of $18.60 per hour. Our food service workes provide exceptional dining experiences by creating genuine and sincere connections with our guests. They are a part of a dynamic service team that works together to deliver unforgettable food, drinks and service to ensure every guest leaves happy.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Passion for Hospitality and willing to know our Guests to enhance their personal experience while flawlessly executing our steps of service
  • Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • Safely utilizes a variety of utensils including knifes
  • Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
  • Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
  • Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • Ensures security of company assets

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a server and working on the frontline in a restaurant is an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work a flexible schedule (i.e. days, nights, weekends)
  • Team Player - help contribute to a positive guest experience however necessary
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience
