Job Description:

As a Food Service Team Member at IKEA, you'll prepare and maintain food items, ensure a clean and organized environment, manage Swedish Food Market operations, and contribute to a safe and inclusive work setting aligned with IKEA's values.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept and standards
Respond to customer inquiries to support informed purchases and process sales transactions accurately
Maintain equipment operation and conduct preventive cleaning maintenance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
Manage the Swedish Food Market by overseeing merchandising, pricing, and stock rotation
Ensure price communication accuracy across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking adhering to First In, First Out (FIFO), expiration dates and sustainability standards
Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene and sanitation regulations
Contribute to an environment where the IKEA culture embraces diversity among co-workers and customers

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
