Job Description:

Food Service Team Member ensuring operational excellence of IKEA Food, responsible for food preparation, customer service, equipment maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness standards in dining areas and Swedish Food Market

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to IKEA Food concept
Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions
Maintain equipment operation and conduct cleaning maintenance
Maintain clean supply of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils
Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
Manage Swedish Food Market including merchandising and pricing
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking following FIFO procedures
Adhere to food safety and workplace safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment
