Job Description:

Food Service Team Member ensuring operational excellence of IKEA Food, preparing and serving food while maintaining high standards of food handling, health, and sustainability

Job Responsibility:

Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to concept
Respond to customer inquiries and process sales transactions
Maintain equipment operation through adherence to guidelines
Maintain clean supply of dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Ensure cleanliness of dining and play areas
Manage Swedish Food Market merchandising and pricing
Ensure accurate price communication across all food solutions
Maintain supply rotation and stocking using FIFO method
Adhere to food safety and workplace safety regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years related experience
Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of basic merchandising and selling concepts preferred
Food Handler Certification and/or Food Handler Card (as required by local jurisdiction) required within 30 days of employment

Nice to have:

Experience in high-volume customer facing environment
