Lead the Ultimate Summer Kitchen Squad at Camp Kadimah. Since 1943, Camp Kadimah has been the cherished summer home for Jewish youth from Atlantic Canada and around the world. Are you a leader who thrives in high-energy environments? Aramark is looking for a Food Services Supervisor to head our culinary operations at Camp Kadimah from June - August! You'll be the Head Coach of the kitchen, ensuring our standards are as high as the camp spirit.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the Squad: Oversee daily operations and staff, ensuring everyone is trained and developed to provide courteous, top-tier customer service
  • Operational Excellence: Support inventory, manage ordering, and handle opening or closing procedures for the facility
  • Safety & Compliance: Support Chef in maintaining accurate logs: temperature, waste, inventory, and ensure team are following all OHS and food safety guidelines
  • Financial Integrity: Monitor cash handling procedures, balance floats, and verify deposits and safe contents
  • Team Support: Coordinate breaks and lunches, support various stations as needed, and address guest concerns with a positive yes and how attitude

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role
  • 1–2 years of experience working in food service
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and English communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods, walk short and long distances, bend, twist, and push, pull, and lift an average of 12kg
  • A genuine desire to provide excellent service and collaborate with your colleagues to ensure smooth operations
  • The successful candidate will need to complete and pass a criminal background check and vulnerable sector search (VSS)
