We are seeking an experienced Food Service Site Director to lead dining operations in a high-visibility, relationship-driven environment where professionalism, presence, and care truly matter. Job Responsibility:
Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to achieve excellence, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching, and managing performance to maximize contributions in a professional environment
Coach employees by creating a shared vision of goals and execution, while rewarding and recognizing excellence to cultivate engagement and retention
Build strong relationships with the school community—students, faculty, parents, and administration—delivering exceptional service and embodying Aramark’s standard of excellence
Anticipate and understand client needs, providing proactive updates on operational progress and ensuring expectations are consistently exceeded
Implement and optimize Aramark processes and systems to achieve operational efficiency and service quality
Build revenue and manage budgets effectively, including controlling costs related to food, beverages, and labor, while maintaining the high standards expected in a private school setting
Ensure strict adherence to Operational Excellence principles, including food quality, safety, and labor compliance
Direct and oversee all aspects of production, distribution, and foodservice operations, delivering consistently high-quality, nutritious, and creatively presented meals
Maintain a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors
Develop and cultivate supervisory staff to grow into future leaders, fostering a culture of professionalism, mentorship, and excellence
Ensure full compliance with all applicable policies, rules, and regulations, including safety, health, and labor standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Food Service, Culinary Arts, Hospitality, Business Management, or related field
Culinary experience is required, with proven ability to plan, prepare, and execute high-quality meals
Experience in service, hospitality, or contract services industry, including managing and developing high-performing teams, is highly preferred
Strong analytical, project planning, and financial management skills, with a keen eye for operational efficiency and quality
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage confidently with students, parents, faculty, and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to deliver meals that are both nutritious and creatively engaging, making dining experiences enjoyable and memorable for students
Professional presence, polished demeanor, and a genuine passion for working with children and supporting a high-profile, all-girls school environment
Physically able to stand and be active for extended periods as required by daily operations
Associates preferred
Minimum 5 years experience
