Job Description:

The role involves creating a genuine and warm experience for guests in multiple facilities such as The restaurant at IKEA Museum, Lobby restaurant at IKEA Hotell, and others in Älmhult. The tasks include taking orders, handling payments, serving food and drinks, and ensuring the venue is in shape for service. The candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with a team to deliver the best visitor experience.

Job Responsibility:

Taking orders during lunch, evening and weekends
taking orders at the counter, table service and presentation of menus and drinks
preparing and keeping restaurants in shape for service both indoor and outdoor
serving of drinks and beverages
handling payments.

Requirements:

Previous experience of working within the restaurant or service business
ability to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done
curiosity for learning new things
ability to handle issues that arise throughout the day
passion for IKEA's history, culture, and values
fluency in Swedish and English, additional language is a plus
ability to handle computers and IT-applications
at least 20 years of age
valid Swedish working permit.

Nice to have:

Mastery of an additional language.
