As a Food Service Professional, you will prepare and distribute food safely and efficiently, maintaining quality, sanitation, and operational standards to support uninterrupted service for patients, staff, and visitors. Every day you will prepare patient trays according to posted menus and individual preferences, collect used trays and dishes from patient areas, clean them using an automatic dishwasher, and return them to their proper storage locations. To be successful in this role, you must enjoy helping others and enjoy a fast-paced, fun work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Prepare and distribute food safely and efficiently
Maintain quality, sanitation, and operational standards
Prepare patient trays according to posted menus and individual preferences
Collect used trays and dishes from patient areas
Clean dishes using an automatic dishwasher
Return dishes to proper storage locations
Set up serving counters with hot and cold food items
Serve food graciously and accurately to all customers
Clean and sanitize tables, serving counters and other food service equipment
Prepare and serve grill menu items to order
Operate the cash register and maintain cash records per department policy
Maintain inventories, record temperatures, and assist in departmental quality assurance program
