Job Description:

Crowley Care has exciting opportunities for part time and casual Food Services Assistants to provide high quality food and customer services to our residents within our aged care facility in a way that makes our customers continue their day with a smile. This varied role is an opportunity to grow in your profession while working in an organisation who genuinely cares for older persons.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide high quality food and customer services to residents within the aged care facility

Requirements:

  • Communication skills to effectively interact with residents, clients, relatives, staff, management and stakeholders
  • Ability to create a positive, everlasting impression with the most professional, courteous and expedient manner and to continually strive for superior customer service
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform multiple functions and tasks
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised as well as within a team environment, planning and prioritising work
  • Willingness to further own knowledge and skills relevant to the role
  • Proactive, punctual and reliable
  • Genuine empathy with the aged and a positive attitude to ageing
  • Knowledge of food safety, infection control and hygiene principles
  • Previous experience within Food Industry is desirable
  • Certificate 2 in Hospitality preferred
