Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others through excellent food service? Randstad Aged Care is seeking a Food Services Assistant to join our compassionate catering team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring our residents receive high-quality, delicious meals in a clean and welcoming environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Meal Service Excellence: Support the preparation, serving, and delivery of appealing meals tailored to resident needs
  • Resident Support: Provide attentive assistance to residents during mealtimes, respecting their individual meal plans
  • Kitchen & Dining Hygiene: Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all kitchen areas, cooking equipment, and dining spaces
  • Event Catering: Contribute to the success of special occasions, including birthdays, cultural events, and internal meetings
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Help ensure dining and adjacent areas remain tidy and hazard-free

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of relevant experience in a food service role
  • aged care experience is highly valued
  • A genuine commitment to safety-first practices
  • Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • A collaborative and friendly attitude, with a knack for teamwork
  • A professional and tidy personal appearance
  • A dedication to providing outstanding customer service every single day
  • You must possess valid working rights for Australia
  • Successful completion of a police check is required
  • A current Flu Vaccination (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
