Supporting food manufacturers and retailers with product innovation including: rheology, new product development, value optimisation, instructional development, pilot plant, quality and food safety manufacturing, thermal processing, new technologies, and regulatory affairs.
Job Responsibility:
Managing and undertaking work on behalf of clients, conducting a variety of analysis across a wide range of techniques
Performing tasks related to quality procedures such as equipment calibration and reviews of documents
Writing reports for contract and research projects, both internally and externally funded
Identifying new business opportunities and contributing to idea generation for food and beverage science and research
Assisting with the delivery of training courses
Requirements:
A degree in food science, chemistry, physics, biochemistry, or a similar discipline
Experience working within a laboratory environment (preferable)
Good communication skills and a keen attitude to learn and develop
Experience in data analysis and familiarity with statistical analysis techniques (advantageous)
Ability to apply knowledge in new situations and manage small projects independently
A methodical, proactive approach with a commitment to quality
