Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Food Science Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 3 months. This is a site-based role in Reading but may include travel to the Wokingham lab.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform routine analysis and sample preparation
  • Produce reliable, accurate data and keep accurate records of laboratory work
  • Follow product formulations and methods to produce food products at bench or manufacturing scale
  • Perform laboratory tasks following specified methodologies

Requirements

  • Have a background, or understanding of food safety
  • Worked in a food environment such as a lab, kitchen etc
  • Hold A levels in a scientific subject
  • Meticulous attention to detail and an ability to follow written instructions
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • A candidate who can start quickly is a requirement
  • Hold entitlement to work in the UK
