Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) during production
  • Review production and food safety documentation to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Conduct pre-operational and operational inspections of equipment and production areas
  • Perform environmental swabbing and other sanitation verification activities
  • Conduct product testing, including pH testing, temperature checks, quality audits
  • Verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Assist with product holds and related quality control procedures
  • Help develop, implement, and monitor food safety and quality assurance programs
  • Support company safety initiatives and help ensure compliance with OSHA and other workplace safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, testing, and compliance activities
  • Assist in preparing for internal and external audits and regulatory inspections
  • Report food safety, quality, or safety issues to management in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Experience in food safety, quality assurance, or food manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, and OSHA standards
  • Ability to perform inspections, collect samples, and document findings accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
