As a Food Runner, you are part of that rhythm. You help ensure service flows smoothly behind the scenes while staying connected to what guests need in the moment. Your attention to detail and awareness of the dining room help create an experience that feels easy and unhurried. Residents’ Beach House has a quieter, more relaxed feel—where guests return throughout their stay and the experience feels familiar over time.
Job Responsibility
Deliver food from the kitchen to guests, ensuring each dish arrives as intended and on time
Support the service team by clearing and resetting tables to maintain a clean and comfortable dining space
Stay aware of guests and assist with requests as they arise, working closely with servers to support the overall experience
Help prepare and restock service items such as linens, glassware, and small food or beverage items
Assist with setup and breakdown of service areas and food stations as needed
Maintain communication with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure a steady and consistent flow of service
Requirements
Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
An interest in hospitality and taking care of others
A calm and attentive presence
The ability to stay organized and focused in a fast-moving environment
Comfort carrying and balancing trays and moving between kitchen and dining areas
A team-oriented mindset and willingness to support where needed
Previous food and beverage experience preferred
