Job Description:

Food Runner position at Sheraton Grand Seattle, responsible for moving items throughout the hotel to ensure guests and associates have what they need. Works across departments including housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and front office to ensure smooth operations and create memorable guest experiences.

Job Responsibility:

Move items throughout the hotel
Deliver items directly to guests in their room
Provide support to housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, front office, and other areas
Ensure smooth operations throughout the entire hotel
Build memorable and unique experiences for guests

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
No license or certification required
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended time
Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps
Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats
Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance
Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
