Job Description:

The Food Runner position is responsible for assisting in maintaining cleanliness, setting up and restocking work areas, and ensuring the proper presentation of china, glass, and silver. The role involves working in a dynamic team environment, delivering exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist
Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
Inspect the cleanliness and presentation of all china, glass, and silver prior to use
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
Speak with others using clear and professional language
Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats
Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
No related work experience
No supervisory experience
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds
Ability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight
Ability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
Clear and professional communication skills
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
Adherence to safety and quality standards.
