Job Description:

We are seeking a hardworking, energetic, and team-oriented Food Runner/Busser to join our team at Junie’s in the Motto by Hilton. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to supporting the restaurant staff, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages (if properly licensed), and maintaining a clean and welcoming dining environment for our guests.

Job Responsibility:

  • Promptly and accurately deliver food and beverages from the kitchen & bar to guests, ensuring correct orders and presentation standards
  • Assist servers by clearing and resetting tables efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized dining area
  • Support the team by stocking supplies, menus, and utensils as needed throughout service
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate guest flow and resolve any issues quickly
  • Monitor and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding food safety and service
  • Assist with light cleaning duties, including sweeping, wiping surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in guest areas
  • Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, responding to requests and ensuring a positive dining experience

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a food runner, busser, or restaurant support role preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capacity to lift and carry trays, dishes, and supplies (up to 25 lbs)
  • Ability to work in a busy and sometimes noisy environment
