Job Description

The position includes producing quality food products in an efficient manner, cleaning and organizing work areas, rotating duties and production lines, reporting inferior product or equipment issues, complying with regulations such as USDA, FDA and OSHA, and performing other tasks as assigned by management. The job involves physical labor, repetitive motions, and might require working in cold environments.

Job Responsibility

Produce quality food products in an efficient manner by assembling, wrapping, labeling and/or case packing and palletizing product
clean and organize work area as needed
rotate duties and production lines when necessary
notify Line Lead, Floor Lead, Production Supervisor or Plant Manager of inferior product issues or equipment that is not working properly
perform other duties as assigned by HSF Management, Supervisors and/or Leads
perform all duties in compliance with USDA or FDA, OSHA and state and local regulations and company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and the use of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older
have the ability to comprehend basic verbal instructions and read product labels
must be reliable and dependable
available to work Monday through Friday plus Saturday if directed to do so by HSF management
no minimum education requirement
training is provided

Assist with machine changeovers, including swapping bags and Quick Locks for different product runs
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work area by sweeping floors, cleaning machinery, and removing waste
Adhere strictly to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety procedures at all times
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with the Bagger Operator and Shift Supervisor regarding product quality, equipment issues, or production delays
Assist with material handling, including stacking trays and boxes on pallets and moving supplies to the production line
