Job Description

P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Food Production Operative to join their team based in Norwich on a full-time, temporary basis.

Job Responsibility

  • Operate production machinery and equipment safely and correctly
  • Prepare, weigh, and handle ingredients according to recipes and procedures
  • Work on production lines packing, assembling, or processing food products
  • Carry out basic quality checks during production
  • Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and health & safety procedures (e.g. HACCP)
  • Clean down equipment and maintain a tidy work area
  • Report faults, shortages, or quality issues to supervisors

Requirements

  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Good attention to detail
  • Basic numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • Previous factory or food experience is helpful but not essential
