Carleton Dining Services would love to have you on our team! We are hiring full-time Prep Cooks to join our team in the Oasis on Carleton University campus. As a Prep Cook you will prepare, cook and serve a variety of foods in either back of the house or on the line. Cooks in this role may be preparing food in front of the customer, requiring strong customer service skills.

Job Responsibility:

Assist Sous Chef and Cooks with preparation of daily menu
Cook on the line, grill, and use ovens
Prepare stations with food
Assembly of cooked products
Serve food while providing exceptional customer service
Maintain continual cleaning and sanitizing of surrounding work area
Assist with culinary auditing, and food safety measures
Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

Food service experience required
Knowledge of food, sanitization, and health and safety standards
Enjoy working with others in a team setting
Excellent customer service skills
Must complete and successfully pass a Criminal Background Check
