Job Description

ARAMARK is looking for a 3rd Cook for Hydro‑Québec, East Baie‑James. Aramark offers a 15/13 work rotation. The schedule is 70 hours per week after 55 hours, overtime is paid at time‑and‑a‑half. The salary will be increased according to the collective agreement in effect after the 300‑hour probation period.

Job Responsibility

  • Cook and prepare various foods following production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • Prepare the daily menu
  • Be able to respond to operational needs
  • Set up the workstation with all required ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, cutting, and peeling
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude with guests, consumers, clients, and colleagues
  • Ensure high‑quality food service and customer satisfaction
  • Clean the workstation

Requirements

  • Ideally hold a DEP (vocational diploma) in cooking or equivalent experience
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in food service or restaurant operations
  • Strong culinary foundation is an asset
  • Experience in remote camps is an asset
  • MAPAQ certification
  • Ensure hygiene and sanitation programs are respected
  • Comply with established safety regulations
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Positive attitude, honesty, and good judgment
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work independently
