Job Description:

Food Prep Lead position at Circle K store responsible for food merchandising, customer service, facility maintenance, and supervising food prep employees in a retail convenience store environment.

Job Responsibility:

Comply with company guidelines for maximizing sales and profitability
Complete build-to's for ordering/purchasing merchandise
Maintain inventory by checking deliveries, pricing items, stocking merchandise
Prepare displays by assembling, dating and price marking
Rotate food items and monitor quality
Monitor and maintain food preparation area and display cases
Assist training new associates
Monitor and organize inventory
Provide prompt excellent customer service
Maintain safe and clean work environment
Supervise food prep employees
Follow government laws and health codes

Requirements:

Minimum age of 18 years old
High school diploma or equivalent
6 months to 1 year of retail store or food service work experience
Knowledge of basic business and customer service principles including planning and organizing, resource management and leadership skills
Ability to communicate information and ideas clearly
Ability to deal with customers and unanticipated problems
Ability to work as scheduled including arriving on time
Ability to accurately operate food service equipment
Ability to perform essential physical duties
