We are seeking an experienced Food & Pharma Division Manager to lead Alfa Laval’s Food & Pharma business across Oceania. This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for driving strategy, growth, and operational excellence across Australia and New Zealand. As part of the Oceania Management Team, you will play a key role in shaping the region’s long‑term direction while delivering strong commercial performance today. You will lead a high‑performing team and work closely with customers across the food, beverage, dairy, brewery, pharmaceutical, and biotech sectors — helping them meet the highest standards of quality, hygiene, efficiency, and sustainability.
Job Responsibility
Champion a safe, compliant, and quality-driven culture, aligned with food and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
Deliver profitable and sustainable growth across the Food & Pharma portfolio in Oceania
Develop and execute a clear divisional strategy aligned with Alfa Laval’s global Food & Pharma priorities
Drive sales and business development across base business and project opportunities, leveraging digital and hygienic process solutions
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing divisional team, setting clear direction and accountability
Strengthen customer relationships and position Alfa Laval as a trusted technology partner
Lead transformation initiatives to build a modern, data-driven, customer-centric organisation
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments across food and pharmaceutical industries
Collaborate closely with Service, Marketing, HR, Finance, and Global Food & Pharma teams to deliver integrated solutions
Act as a senior representative of Alfa Laval with key customers, partners, and industry bodies.
Requirements
10+ years’ experience in Food, Beverage, water management, Pharma, Biotech, or process industries, with strong commercial exposure
5+ years’ experience in a senior leadership role with responsibility for people, strategy, and financial performance
Strong understanding of hygienic processing, quality standards, and regulated environments
Proven ability to drive growth, transformation, and team performance in complex organisations
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred)
A strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and passion for leading people through change.
