Job Description:

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods. You will ensure your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards and provide a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines whilst supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant
Active selling, cash handling, operation of ovens & fryers

Requirements:

Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
