Food Goods Receival Co-worker

• Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience
• Receive, check, and safely handle all incoming food deliveries, using proper manual‑handling techniques and pallet jacks to move stock to designated areas
• Store and organise products in freezer, cool room, and ambient locations, ensuring compliance with food safety, temperature standards, and correct stock rotation
• Maintain accurate stock levels by participating in regular stock counts and supporting the stock take process to ensure inventory accuracy

• Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
• Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
• Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
• Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
• 1–2+ years in goods receival, warehousing, or logistics
• food preferred
• Proven record of stock accuracy and on‑time receival in busy dock operations
• Familiar with FIFO/FEFO, temperature monitoring, and handling perishables

Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
