Food coworker

• Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience
• food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels
• clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake
• active selling, cash handling and customer service
• food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels and cooking methods
• processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines

• Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
• experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
• enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
• able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
