Job Description

Create a great IKEA Food experience that makes visiting IKEA even more enjoyable while contributing to business growth. By leading and developing the IKEA Food Commercial team, using customer insights, and driving commercial initiatives, you ensure attractive food offers, excellent service, and strong business performance. In this role, you contribute to customer satisfaction, sales growth, profitability, and the overall success of the IKEA store.

Job Responsibility

  • Ensure that the Customer Restaurant, Bistro and Swedish Food Market remain attractive, welcoming and well-presented
  • Drive sales by analyzing business performance, identifying commercial opportunities, and implementing promotional and customer engagement activities
  • Contribute to the creation and execution of the unit business plan and the IKEA Retail Food business plan together with the Food Operations Manager
  • Lead, coach and develop the team to successfully deliver commercial initiatives and achieve agreed sales, profitability and customer satisfaction goals
  • Implement IKEA Food commercial standards, tools, ways of working and KPIs, while ensuring compliance with local requirements and legislation
  • Act as a business partner by providing customer and market insights, contributing to business planning, and managing forecasting and budgeting activities
  • Ensure compliance with global and national standards while balancing operational excellence with strong commercial performance
  • Secure an inspiring and affordable food experience that strengthens the overall IKEA customer journey and encourages repeat visits

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in leading people in a high-volume, commercial environment
  • Strong commercial mindset and the ability to deliver on the agenda while keeping the customer in focus
  • Excellent presentation and coaching skills
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions and use sales and financial insights to improve performance
  • Confident analyzing commercial actions, campaigns and offers
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and connect daily operations with overall business and financial goals
  • Enthusiasm towards food
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and both written and spoken English
