Job Description:

As an IKEA Food Co-worker, you will be responsible for maintaining food standards, ensuring cleanliness, and providing exceptional service to customers. You will handle food preparation, waste control, active selling, and customer interaction in a fast-paced environment while adhering to food safety guidelines.

Job Responsibility:

Ensuring your area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting to provide a positive customer experience
Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels
Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake
Active selling, cash handling and customer service
Operation of ovens & fryers

Requirements:

Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks

Nice to have:

Hospitality experience
Cookery experience
