Food Co-worker

• Preparing and cooking food with a focus on food safety, minimising waste, and maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Adhering to production plan levels and prescribed cooking methods
• Acting to ensure the highest food quality and hygiene standards, and consistency in food preparation
• Efficiently manage cooking times and multi-tasking during peak service hours to ensure timely delivery of meals
• Operating kitchen equipment, including ovens and induction cooktops, with precision and care
• Providing friendly and efficient customer service to our valued team in the co-worker restaurant (staff cafeteria)
• Maintaining the dishwashing area and equipment.

• A passion for food and great customer service
• Prior experience in hospitality or commercial cookery is highly regarded
• A strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes with attention to presentation and quality
• Proven experience working in a dynamic, hands-on, fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to work under pressure, especially during rush periods
• Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• The ability to strictly adhere to IKEA Food and HACCP policies, including daily quality checks, temperature controls, and operational routines.
