Job Description:

As an IKEA Food Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Commercial and customer experience and Operational excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Preparing and serving food in line with IKEA Food standards and food safety requirements
Providing friendly, efficient customer service and active selling
Handling cash transactions and operating point-of-sale systems
Maintaining presentation standards to ensure food areas are attractive and welcoming
Supporting stocktake activities and controlling waste through correct production levels
Cooking, serving, and food preparation using approved methods and equipment, including ovens and fryers
Following strict food safety, hygiene, and HACCP procedures, including temperature and date checks
Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops, and maintaining cleanliness in customer dining areas
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing-up area and equipment
Ensuring all food areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with IKEA standards at all times

Requirements:

Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks

Nice to have:

Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
