Job Responsibility:

Ensuring area is efficiently maintained in compliance with Food standards by keeping it clean, organised, attractive and inviting
Food preparation and customer service with a focus on food safety, controlling waste, and following production levels
Clearing tables, wiping down benchtops and stocktake
Active selling, cash handling and customer service
Food preparation, cooking, serving and customer service
Processing dishes and maintaining the washing up area and machines
Supporting and maintaining the cleanliness of the customer restaurant
Operation of ovens & fryers

Requirements:

Passionate, committed, and have a love for food in its quality and presentation
Experienced with working in a fast paced, hands-on environment
Previous hospitality and cookery experience is highly regarded
Enthusiastic about working within a team of like-minded people
Able to follow strict IKEA Food and HACCP policies and daily operational routines around quality and food safety, including temperature and date checks
Availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts
Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday)

Nice to have:

Previous hospitality and cookery experience
